• INTERNATIONAL BIOMEDICAL CONFERENCE

    Gibraltar's Health Minister Yvette del Agua formally opened the two day 2nd International Biomedical Science Conference held in November 2010 which the Kusuma Trust sponsored.

    The conference gathered professionals from Gibraltar, London, Hong Kong and Morocco focussing on technical discussions of issues ranging from prostate cancer to prenatal diagnosis.

     

     

     

     


    In her address Mrs del Agua that despite its small size Gibraltar is able to boast of a Department of Pathology which provides a wide range of services in all pathological disciplines, be it Biochemistry, Haematology, Transfusion.

    Kusuma Gibraltar is now offering local persons new opportunities in support of professional development courses, distance learning and vocational training. Kusuma is especially interested in hearing from applicants working in local NGOs and charitable institutions who can bring further benefit to those institutions from attending recognised training or courses.
