A new prostate clinic has been unveiled at St Bernards hospital, the equipment purchased by the Kusuma Trust Gibraltar will facilitate the diagnosis and treatment of the disease whilst the new protocols and clinic will allow for faster diagnosis and more efficient care.  Mr Diaz from the Prostate Cancer Support Group described the arrival of the equipment as a ‘Dream come true’. The Cancer Support Group have worked tirelessly to make this dream a reality and we are so pleased for them Minister for Health John Cortes stated in the opening at St Bernard’s Hospital that ” Health Care is something that the state can not do alone” speaking of the role of the Prostate Cancer Support Group Minister Cortes stated ” There is no better example that the commitment of organisations such as yours to move things forward”.  Kusuma thanks the GHA and the Prostate Cancer Support Group for all their hard work in this working towards the opening of this clinic.

The opening coincides nicely the Prostate Support Group  MOVEMBER campaign which hopes to raise much needed fund and create awareness of prostate cancer
